This is our Peacock Family... named after the wonderful Beauty and the Beast Disney Story. The male peacock has vibrant colors, while the female is brownish in color. Both the male and female spread their tail feathers... it is their way of flirting.

Many say that the tail feather's of a male peacock look like an eye. What do you think? To us... they just look... beautiful! We love the iridescent colors! The male will shed his long tail feathers in the fall. New feathers will grow the following spring.
