A duck's foot is webbed, making them very good swimmers. The duck pictured above is a male Mallard Duck, the female (to the right) is less colorful. With many birds, the male is more colorful than the female. Ducks lay eggs, and hatch their young. Turtles, alligators, and other reptiles also lay eggs.
